Yellowstone-Mount Rushmore Winter Trip - 2004
We love the American West and can't seem
to get enough of it. Terry's busy work
schedule had prevented us from being
able to travel in the summer or fall, so we
decided to do a winter trip to Yellowstone.
Yellowstone is closed to private vehicles
during the winter months, but commercial
snow coaches and snowmobile groups
are allowed. We decided to add a side trip
to Devils Tower, Little Bighorn Battlefield,
and Mount Rushmore to our agenda. Dry
cold - yeah, right! Nevertheless, we had a
great trip and experienced another facet of
this wonderful part of the country.
