Easter 2009
The family decided
to spend this Easter
weekend relaxing in
Pigeon Forge, TN.
Our niece, Julie,
came up with the
idea, and arranged
for a cabin rental.
The cabin was described
as luxury accommodations,
and indeed it was.  It was
also in a remote location.
Our GPS unit got
completely lost trying to
find it, and of course, so
did we.
We were amazed at
how this cabin was
built onto the
mountainside.  The
lower side was six
stories tall.  We
enjoyed being up at
treetop level and
listening to the tree
frogs from the cabin
decks.
Terry had been practicing
relaxing on our earlier trip
and slipped into position
almost effortlessly.
Barbara is starting to get
the hang of this too!
Dyeing Easter eggs
is a lot more fun(?)
when the kids are
involved.
Everyone did have a
good time, and no one
made a mess.  Really!
It didn't take us long at
all to get back to what we
came there to do.  Relax!
Your humble website

around.
For those who don't know,
this is Julie, Anthony, and
Audra with their children
Aubrey, Haley, and Kaleb.
Haley poses for this
glamor shot made by
her father.
The Easter Bunny was
able to find us and left
some goodies for the
kids.  Wonder what
kind of GPS he uses?
Kaleb is all excited
about the presents
he got.
Haley shows her Oma
what the bunny left for
her.
Aubrey's excitement
meter takes a little
longer to get bouncing
this early in the
morning.
